Changelog¶

Changes to the esigna API that affect integrations, newest first.

Changes that could stop an existing v1 integration from working are announced by email to your technical contact before they ship. Additions, such as a new field in a response, can arrive at any time, so ignore fields you don't use.

Portal API¶

The first release of the Portal API:

• Create, get, download and delete signing processes. Each participant has a signingUrl you can send them yourself.
• Webhooks for participant.signed, participant.declined and process.completed.
• In the sandbox, endpoints to sign or decline as a participant.

Signing API¶

• POST /api/v1/auth/token: expires_in is now the token's real lifetime. It used to be 86400 whatever the token's lifetime was. Reuse a token until it expires, not for a fixed day.
• POST /api/v1/signing with signingMethod: AudkenniSim and no phone is now a 400 whose errors name Signer.Phone. It used to be a 500.
• An unexpected error is now a problem details body with a traceId on every endpoint. Give us the traceId when you report it. Before, only the start and poll calls answered that way; the others gave an empty 500.
• A request that names no signatureLevel is signed at Lt, however it leaves the level out. Sending advancedSignatureSettings without signatureLevel used to give T.
• Sandbox: a signing request finds only your own sandbox users. Before, a sandbox user of another account with the same kennitala or phone number could answer it.
